SCHOOL SESSIONS
We bring everything required to deliver at your school.
Each booking must be a minimum of 2 hours. In that time we can deliver 3*4o minute sessions.
Our fees relate to how long we are on your premises – during that time you choose what activities you want us to deliver from the following:
DJ Taster session:
This is an engaging session where each student will take a turn to experience the DJ equipment.
The session delivers a basic understanding of the Pulse, Tempo, Beat, Counting In, and offers opportunities to discuss Dynamic, Harmony, Copyright and Intellectual Property
We can deliver this format to up to 15 young people every 40 minutes.
Engaging, motivating and inspiring demonstrations for whole classes or assembly:
Talk to us about possible themes including – DIY culture, Anti violence through HIPHOP or introducing the “Pulse” in music.
Please note this is not a “hands-on” session. To deliver this session to a whole class we do not have time to let the students have a turn. Occasionally and at our discretion we may invite some of the students to get involved. This will depend on the behaviour and circumstances of each class.
Get “hands-on” with the experience of DJing:
This is an intensive and engaging session where each student will use the DJ equipment to produce a basic mix.
The session delivers an understanding of the Pulse, Tempo, Beat, Counting In, and offers opportunities to discuss Dynamic, Harmony, Copyright and Intellectual Property
We can deliver this format to up to 8 young people every 40 minutes.
Book multiple weeks of delivery for your SEN, EBD, SMEH or other groups and we can support their journey to accreditation.
Don’t forget we can also deliver weekly peripatetic teaching as you would use for any other instrument.
We are flexible: Most schools start a day with an assembly demonstration, then have a variety of whole class and small group sessions to suit their students. Contact us to discuss project ideas, funds available, your ideas or longer bookings for even better value!
Times and dates must be agreed via Service Level Agreement. All bookings are subject to our terms and conditions which are linked in the footer of each webpage. If you have any questions – please just get in touch using the contact form on this page.
Minimum booking (2 hours) = £300.00
Full School Day = £550.00
All payments are made via invoice on receipt of a purchase order or as per a service level agreement.
Schools in Leeds may be able to get help with funding via our partnership with the Leeds Music Education Partnership (the Music Hub for Leeds). Please enquire for more details.
