In Person CPD & TRAINING FOR STAFF
Opportunities:
Learn how to host your own DJ clubs and maintain your own DJ equipment. Make huge savings and make DJing a permanent part of your organisation.
Learn how to support pupils to use DJ Skills at GCSE and Btec.
DJ skills can engage young people in music in a way that traditional instruments cannot.
DJing is an accessible entry point where all can feel culturally represented by choosing their own music.
DJing leads on to a range of varied and demanding skills, equivalent to learning any instrument, and which encourage self-discipline, reflective practise and self – efficacy.

Testimonials:
“I like the fact the videos are brief and don’t go over the same thing again and again- we can always watch them back again if needed. Also like how they’re not just ‘how to DJ’ videos, but explain how what we’re learning can be used to engage young people. Especially helpful for giving peri tutors ideas I think.” - Sunderland Music Hub
"The training was perfect; clear, engaging and well-suited to our needs. We all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and developed the skills and understanding we needed to be able to introduce DJing into our music departments." - Music for Bedford Borough.
“The team absolutely loved the session. I can definitely see us using DJing in our clubs and especially as a tool to engage young people in wellbeing support. The accessibility for young people makes it a really easy to use tool for building confidence and self-esteem.” - Lincoln YMCA
"Thank you for the GCSE Music Spec CPD. Your expert teaching has helped me understand how students can plan and prepare a performance in line with the AQA specification and curriculum" - Head of Expressive Arts, Newark Academy.
"Thanks for the training. M*** is already applying it in his classrooms, wants to get his own kit and keep the music hub going over summer so he can dig deeper!" Music Area Leader, Learning and Inclusion, Dorset.
