We are giving you the opportunity to take part in a unique project where you can:

  • learn how to DJ and produce music using industry standard DJ equipment and software

  • make and perform music with like minded people

  • gain important life skills

  • receive a recognised qualification

  • work your way up through the progression route

The progression programme

(Please note: you can join the programme at any level or. The times for the sessions below are only advisory. If you feel you have more experience with DJing and Music please get in touch and we will fit you in).

Level 1 – Tuesday evenings: 4.00pm-5.00pm / 6.00pm-7.00pm Cost: £1 per session

After school club for those who have little or no experience in DJing or music technology. Complete a skills checklist and Arrowdemonstrate your skills to progress on to Level 2.

Please note – Between 5.00pm and 6.00pm is our girls-only DJ club – Female DJs can stay late or arrive early to take advantage of this extra time.

Level 2 – Tuesday evenings: 4.00pm-5.00pm / 6.00pm-7.00pm Cost: £1 per session

After school club for those who have completed Level 1 or who have experience of DJing or music technology. You will need the Arrowability to work alone, with others and show advanced skills.

Please note – Between 5.00pm and 6.00pm is our girls-only DJ club – Female DJs can stay late or arrive early to take advantage of this extra time.

Level 3 – Mondays 3.00pm – 7.00pm Cost: £1 per session

For those who have progressed through Level 1 and Level 2 or who have a lot of DJing experience. You can learn more advanced skills and lead workshops or mentor others in other parts of the programme.

This time is also available to those on Level 1 and 2 if they cannot do Tuesdays. Just let us know.

Open to ages 8-25 during term time only.

The programme is funded by Youth Music and is aimed at certain groups of people. We are recruiting young people who are: in receipt of Free School Meals, are Pupil Premium, are Not in Education, Employment or Training, have Special Educational Needs or Disabilities, or who are from the following areas:
