WOAH! This just became a DJ Competition!

Dawsons Music have kindly given us a Numark Mixtrack Pro II for the best DJ who plays live at our Big Gig on Sunday the 14th July midday to 5pm.

To enter – send us an MP3 or a link to an online mix of yours – mixes should be ten minutes long and show as much skill as you can. If you don’t have time to do a ten minute mix link us to your best but be aware – we will only listen to the first ten minutes. Send entries to: info@djschooluk.org.uk

We will pick the best of the best and book you to play alongside our best students and some special pro guests… So you can play live at our gig on the 14th – we will judge you on skills, musical ability, stage presence, and crowd reaction. Then the winner will get the Mixtrack! All those playing on the day will also get a goody bag from Dawsons. The pro DJs will not be competing so the competition will be fair.

This competition is open to all young people up to the age of 19. Due to the age range any explicit lyrics will result in an instant disqualification and the end of your set – keep it clean DJs. You must be able to attend the gig on July 14th from midday to 5pm. You can bring friends and family to support you at the event – in fact the more you bring the more the crowd will cheer for you and this will help you score points!

THE EVENT IS FREE!
